WORLD BANK LOAN $944 MILLION FOR 3 RURAL PROJECTS - INDIA NEWS
The World Bank signed three loan agreements for India tatalling to $944 million. The loan is towards the strengthening of rural finance system, Vocational training programmes and community based water management projects.
Of this total $944 million, $600 million will go towards the boosting orIndian rural cooperative credit projects, $280 million will be towards supporting 400 ITI's over four years in India and the remaining $64 million will be towards the water tank management projects in Karnataka, India.
