ON A PHONE CALL PAKISTAN DECLARES EMERGENCY PAKISTAN NEWS HEADLINES
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN NEWS HEADLINES: - A reported telephone call from Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, the Chief Justice about a decision on the petition against the Presidential elections to one of his friends that Supreme Court was going to hand down a verdict against the General Musharaff, prompted the Pakistani authorities to declare emergency. The call was intercepted by the secret agencies a few days ago. The justice told his friend that eight judges gave their opinions against the General Musharaff where as 3 other judges gave opinion in favour of the General.
