PLOT TO KILL FIJI PRIME MINISTER 11 HELD - FIJI NEWS HEADLINES
SUVA, FIJI NEWS HEADLINES: - Fijian police arrested 11 people who made a plot by dissident army members to assassinate the country's military leader and Prime Minister, commodore Frank Bainimarama and some members of his cabinet. Capt Esala Teleni said that the plotters included prominent members of political parites who would want to have instability and conduct insurgent activites in Fiji. The plot was said to be well palnned, rehearsed and possibly conducted by individuals. Of those arrested only millionaire AIT company executive Ballu Khan and High Chief Ratu Inoke Takiveikata have been identified as reported in the Indian News Paper The Hindu.
